Our Practice Areas
First Avenue Legal strives to be different to your standard legal practice and is driven by your best interests as the client. We commenced operations in 2015, and our vision is to safeguard you, your family and your assets, to minimise the cost of legal advice whilst providing a prompt and responsive boutique service in our core practice areas.
Conveyancing
Sale, purchase and subdivisions
Our principal solicitor, Amanda Bradford, will work closely with you to provide guidance, whether it is your first purchase, or whether you are an experienced property developer. We are able to advise you in relation to your eligibility for first home owner concessions and grants, pensioner concessions and principal place of residence concessions. We also offer a pre-purchase contract review and drafting of special conditions, to ensure that all documentation is provided before signing, to provide complete reassurance from purchase to ensure smooth transition to settlement. We will work closely with your banker to ensure that all documents are provided in a timely manner to satisfy loan approval and calculate adjustments in relation to the property to ensure that any outstanding debts from the current vendor have been discharged from the property.
Wills and Powers of Attorney (POA)
Enduring/non-enduring POA/Medical treatment decision maker documents
Our principal solicitor, Amanda Bradford, is experienced in drafting Wills to accomodate your final wishes and to ensure that your assets are distributed to your loved ones, as intended. We will discuss if there is a need for trusts to be incorporated in your Will - either to protect minor children, for tax planning, or for a special disability trust. As part of the signing process, you will be provided with an Estate Information Manual to assist you in the Estate Planning process, and to guide your Executors in the management of your Estate. As part of this service, Amanda will also advise you with respect to preparing Powers of Attorney and Medical treatment decision maker documents, giving you complete peace of mind should you lose capacity in the future to make decisions for yourself.
Grants of Probate and
Letters of Administration

We are also able to finalise property ownership as a result of the Estate distribution, including processing of survivorship applications, applying stamp duty concessions to beneficiaries and transfers of property to legal personal representatives.
Commercial Contracts
Sale and Purchase of Business and assignment of commercial leases
